Pool Program


All classes are based on the American Red Cross’ learn-to-swim program. Each course combines skills and instruction in safety and swimming. Students are recommended to proceed level by level to pick up the skills most efficiently.

The children swim lesson program includes:

Level 1 & 2) (Beginners)
Level 3 & 4 (Intermediate)
Level 5 & 6 (Advance)

*Swim Suit attire is required: No t-shirts, cut-offs or street wear allowed.

Children with Special Needs - Adapted Therapeutic Swim Lessons.
(18 months to 18 years old)

California Aquatic Therapy and Wellness Center specializes in providing individual adapted therapeutic swim lessons to children with disabilities. We use modified swimming techniques that are designed to accommodate the participant’s ability and includes the various elementary and fundamental aquatics techniques.

This program is idea for children with a range of disabilities ranging from developmental delays to an inability to control voluntary muscles. Services are provided to children with autism, cerebral palsy, ADHD, down’s syndrome, Spina Bifida, and many other disabilities.

Public Individual & group lessons are available at all levels. Ten 30 minute Lessons are provided in 2 5-week sessions. Call for more information.
Classes are customized to meet the goals and needs of individual participants at all levels.

New Mommy & Me & Daddy Too!
(Children 6 months- 2 years old)

This course provides instruction for both parent and child. These courses provide instruction on support and holding techniques, selecting and using lifejackets, water adjustment, changing positions, breath control, water entry and exit, and basic skills for swimming on front and back.

*Swim Pants Young Swimmers/Tots/Diapers:
Children who are not toilet trained must wear swim diapers and tight fitting plastic pants with waistband and leg. For public health reasons, no regular diapers are allowed in the pool.
