DONATE TODAY TO SUPPORT OUR SPECIAL NEEDS KIDS IN THE 2011 Run/Walk for Wellness Fundraiser
This is a fun way to show your support for the center and help kids with special needs. Our
children will abandon our warm water for one Saturday to participate in the FREE
Aquarium of the Pacific Kids Run
Saturday, October 8, 2011, starting at 9am
The event is for kids ages 6-12 and consists of running or walking a one-mile course around the Aquarium of the
Pacific to show how The Aquatic Center is improving the lives of children and adults with
disabilities.
- You can join us and sign your child up to run/walk with us by registering at
AQUARIUM OF THE PACIFIC KIDS FUN RUN
and follow the
instructions OR email us at
so we can get you your fundraising
packet. You will receive a confirmation email from Run Long Beach. Please email a copy of
the confirmation to us at and include your child(s) tee-shirt
size (s) to receive a free t-shirt. We ask that you register ASAP as space is limited.
- Commit to donating or raising a minimal of $100 - Every $85 donated to this worthy cause allows another special needs child or frail senior to participate in our programs to improve their health for a year? How many people will you help this year?
Fundraisers are eligible to WIN great prizes. If you chose not to participate in the event,
we ask that you still support us by campaigning and inviting family and friends to join you in
making a donation.
